The design for the bay street Emeryville project is inspired by the unique characteristics of Emeryville’s past with key references to the city's heritage. Today, the City of Emeryville is transforming into an urban center for innovation, integration, and discovery. The renovation of the shed is in the support of the changing fabric of the city.
The renovation includes reducing and reconfiguring the footprint of several spaces, updating the staircase to provide better visibility, and integrating the fire pit from the former Pasta Pomodoro restaurant into the public space.
